The exhibition “No (body) is an island” in Association NOEMI - Espace Brownstone
The Association NOEMI - Espace Brownstone proudly presented the first solo exhibition in Paris by renowned Cuban artist Mabel Poblet, titled “No(body) is an island”. Drawing inspiration from the 17th-century poem by John Donne, the exhibition explores the themes of isolation, human vulnerability, resilience, and the need for community in today’s globalized world.

Poblet’s multimedia approach—spanning photography, installation, video, and performance art—invites audiences into deeply personal and political spaces. Several pieces were created especially for the French context, while others were previously featured at the Venice Biennale and Chanel Nexus Hall in Japan.
