The exhibition “Con todo adentro”
“Con todo adentro” (“All Equipped”) is an exhibition by Glenda León, a Cuban artist based in Madrid and one of the most influential Latin American artists of her generation.

The title of the exhibition, drawn from real estate slang in Cuba, refers to homes listed as “fully equipped”—but León uses it metaphorically to evoke the emotional, cultural, and spiritual “baggage” we carry when we emigrate. In the context of Cuba’s largest migratory wave in its history, this phrase becomes a poetic symbol of what we bring with us when we leave: memories, identity, and personal history.

Glenda Lyon
Cuban contemporary artist
Glenda León (b. 1976, Havana) is a celebrated Cuban multidisciplinary artist whose work spans installation, drawing, video, photography, public art, and artist’s books. She earned her art degree from Havana’s Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) and later studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2007 . León’s poetic, sensory-driven pieces explore the thresholds between sound and silence, ephemeral and eternal—often juxtaposing natural and artificial elements, like organic flowers, chewing gum, or musical notation—inviting the viewer into a heightened awareness of perception and time  . She has showcased at major venues including Havana and Venice Biennials, SITE Santa Fe, and SITE lines, and her work resides in prestigious collections such as the Centre Pompidou, MMFA Montreal, MFA Houston, Hammer Museum, and Pérez Art Museum Miami
